Cape Point Full Day Tour – 18 April 2011
Guests depart from the CTICC and travel via the 12 Apostles and Hout Bay, as well as Chapmans Peak– one of the region’s most dramatic mountain drives offering amazing panoramic views over the city and environs the 9km route, with its 114 curves, skirts the rocky coastline of Chapman's Peak and offers stunning 180° views over the ocean and mountains with Hout Bay in the distance.
Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, established in 1939. The reserve comes to an end at majestic Cape Point and is popularly perceived as the meeting point of the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans.
Thereafter travel through the historic naval base of Simon's Town where guests will be able to visit a colony of African Jackass Penguins in their natural environment at Boulders Beach. It is a popular tourist stop because of a colony of African Penguins which settled there in 1982. Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants in the Simons Town area.

Winelands Full Day Tour – 19April 2011
Guests depart on a scenic and historic drive through the local wine regions in Cape Town: Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. The day will also include stopping at 3 of the famous wine estates to sample the local wines produced in South Africa.
At our first stop each will get three pieces of chocolate that the winemaker and a chocolatier meticulously developed over the course of more than a year. Each piece of chocolate is perfectly paired with the glass of wine next to it. The chocolate brings out the character of the wine surprisingly well.
Guests will enjoy a scenic route to the town of Paarl where they will stop off at our next wine estate where guests will have the opportunity to sample 6 cheeses blending with a selection of 6 wines.
Afterwards continuing to Stellenbosch where the group will enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch with wine tasting.
The Stellenbosch Village Museumcurrently comprises of four houses of historical interest and their gardens. Each of these beautiful homes represents a different period in the architectural development of Stellenbosch. The houses, their interiors and their gardens have been wonderfully restored, furnished, planted and decorated to illustrate the particular style and taste of the time.

Half day Rhodes Memorial, Groot Constantia, Kirstenbosch, V&A Waterfront tour – 20 April 2011
This tour will give participants a glimpse of the rich social history and natural beauty of Cape Town, visiting the Rhodes Memorial, Groot Constantia Estate and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
The magnificent memorial to Cecil John Rhodes, stands on the slopes of Devil’s Peak, on the Northern flank of Table Mountain. It was built in 1912 on the very place where Rhodes used to sit and contemplate his future. It was a short ride on horseback from his town home – Groote Schuur.
Groot Constantia is one of the oldest trademarks in the world. The story of Groot Constantia, the finest surviving example of Cape Dutch architecture and one of South Africa’s foremost historical monuments tourist attractions dates back to 1685. The Manor House, with its elegant gables, today houses a cultural history museum, which portrays the early years at Groot Constantia, with a superb collection of Cape Furniture, porcelain and maritime art.
The Kirstenbosch gardens are world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Kirstenbosch Gardens.
After lunch you will be transferred to the V&A Waterfront where you will have some time to do shopping. Aquila Private Game Reserve Full Day Tour – 21 April 2011
Guests will have an early departure and will travel to Aquila Game Reserve, via the scenic Du Toitskloof Pass. Aquila Private Game Reserve is named after the rare and endangered Black Eagle that thrives in this area. Proclaimed a private nature reserve in 1985, this malaria free, 4500 hectare reserve is steeped in Khoi San and Boer War history and boasts three pristine biomes of vegetation set in the most magnificent Karoo mountains, valleys, rivers and kloofs.
Upon arrival at Aquila we will be welcomed by picturesque views and quiet luxury in the midst of wild Africa and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. On a three hour game drive we will track the “Africa’s Big Five” (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo) with an experienced ranger, stopping en route to enjoy a luncheon and sparkling wine in the splendour of the bush. During the game drive we will visit the world-renowned rock art sites of the Khoi San or Bushmen.
