Garden Route – Friday 22 April 2011 – Sunday 24 April 2011

You will travel from Cape Town via Route 62 to the town of Oudtshoorn and have the opportunity to visit the Cango Caves which boasts among the biggest stalagmite formations in the world. Guests will overnight at Hlangana Lodge, one of the finest small luxury guesthouses in South Africa. Before departing Oudtshoorn you will visit one of the two big Ostrich show farms in the region, which attract entire busloads of tourists every day.

We travel on to Knysna, which is one of the Southern Cape coast's best known holiday destinations, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon. Upon arrival in Knysna you will enjoy a relaxing Featherbed Cruise. Featherbed is a privately-owned, registered Nature Reserve and is a pristine piece of paradise situated on the Western Head of Knysna and is accessible by ferry only.

Guests will overnight at the 4-star Protea Hotel Knysna Quays and enjoy a spectacular perspective of the popular coastal town of Knysna.
