Group Registration Discount for Public Portion

If 5 or more members of the same organization would like to attend the public portion of the conference – a group registration should be facilitated with the conference secretariat. For every 5 observer registrations paid in full the 6 observer registration will be free to that organization.

The 5 or more observer registration fees must be paid by the organization and not by the individual.

Methods of Payment

 Only delegates who are registered and who have paid in full are considered confirmed delegates and will be able to participate in the conference activities.

Payments must be made as follows:

  • In South African Rands (ZAR)
  • It is the responsibility of foreign guests to ensure that the amount payable is in accordance with the latest exchange rate and represents the total South African Rand amount.
  • By either Bank Wire Transfer (Electronic funds transfer) or Credit Card (secure page on the conference website) 

Note: No cheque payments are accepted unless agreed with the IOSCO 2011 Conference Secretariat. All bank transaction charges are for delegate's own account.

Payment by Credit Card

Only Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards are accepted. This payment method is facilitated during your registration online and is done on a secure page.

Registration Confirmation

All delegates that have completed the online registration pages will receive a confirmation email outlining the status of their registration profile. The registration will only be confirmed once full payment is received.

Changes to be made to your registration profile – Unique Access Key

On completion of your online registration you receive notification of your unique access key. This access key will also be emailed to the email address you have provided.

This access key will be used to re-access your personal record and allows you to make any amendments to your original registration.You will be able to access your record by inserting your access key on the first registration page that is accessible via the conference website.

Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration will not be confirmed until full payment has been received by the conference secretariat.

The following cancellation clauses will apply:

  • Prime interest rate will be charged for all post-event payments arranged with the IOSCO Secretariat
  • Registrations will only be validated if all monies are paid in advance
  • All cancellations must be received in writing. If received before 15 February 2011 a full refund will be passed less a 15% administration fee.
  • On all cancellations between 15 February 2011 and 15 March 2011, 50% will be refunded less the 15% administration fee and delegates with outstanding fees will still be liable for the 50% cancellation fee.
  • No shows and cancellations after 15 March 2011 will be liable for the full fee. After this date no refunds will be processed, however delegates may be substituted provided this is done in writing to the conference secretariat
  • Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Accommodation will NOT be confirmed until full payment has been received by the conference secretariat.
Full payment for your accommodation booking must be received no later than 15 January 2011.

The following cancellation clauses will apply:

  • If a booking is cancelled on or before 15 January 2011 a full refund, less a 15% administration fee, will be processed.
  • If a booking is cancelled on or after 16 January 2011, or in the case of a no show, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Name Substitution

Delegates my be substituted as long as this is done in writing and sent to the conference secretariat on a company letter
either via email or fax.
